01 Create solid business foundation
Building and nurturing a real business is more than setting up a website or email marketing funnels. A thriving, slow business is built on a solid foundation. However, there's no simple, ready-made cookiecutter blueprint you can follow towards success (and anyone who says so is trying to make a fool of you). Every business owner and every business is unique and has different, unique needs. The most important strategic guideline of your meaningful business is a business plan. It describes the future of your business, but also what's going on with it right now.
This module helps you to plan and understand your one of a kind business, create a business plan, identify your customers and target groups, research your competition, and discover how to set meaningful business goals.
After you have completed this module, you'll have tools and skills to build a rock solid foundation for your slow business. You know why your business exists. You have started to creating your own business plan, which you will keep filling and complementing through the following modules.
02 Market mindfully
Marketing is much more than advertisement and selling. Often creative types shy away from marketing for no good reason, only because they think it's not for them. However, marketing is an important part of business building, and it can be quite creative. Marketing is the whole process of crafting and bringing products and services to people.
In this module you will get to the bottom of what is marketing and why you need it. You'll learn about such things as marketing mix, A/B testing, inbound marketing, target groups, branding, ROI, SEO, MVP, MMP and MDP, call to action (CTA), sales funnels and more.
By the end of this module you'll recognise and comprehend marketing terminology and basic methods, and know how to make marketing effortless and less time-consuming. You won't be scared or repulsed about marketing, and will understand its importance as a definitive part of your creative process and meaningful business.
03 Find the right people
There's nothing better than finding the right audience, fans, followers and customers. One customer who understands your value is much more valuable than five who just want you to make them something cheap and fast. But how can you find and attract that right person?
This module is all about the people. You will learn who you want to attract, inspire, engage and delight, and how to do it. You'll get in the know all about target groups, ideal clients and customer research.
By the end of this module you know the people you are targeting. You have created a profile of a person who will buy your products and services, and know how to use it going forward.
04 Deliver fabulous products and services
Business means making money with producing or buying and selling products and services. Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out which products will actually sell. You can use your creativity to craft products and services that deserve enthusiastic fans.
In this module you'll learn how to find out what people want, and how to help them want what you offer. You will learn how to figure out the most effective pricing for your products and services, plus how to get your products out in the market faster.
In the end of this module, you’ll know how to create, price, package and position products and services to be bought by people who want them. Additionally you have crafted ideas for products and services that fit your meaningful business.
05 Brand purposefully
As the popular line goes, branding is much more than just your logo. Let's take a deeper look into standing out from the crowd, establishing yourself as an authority and expert in your field, and understanding how great branding combines the visuals and the content.
With this module, you will learn about logos, brand colours, fonts, using images and photos, wording and messages, values and missions. You will find out what a brand actually is and how branding helps you to reach the right people.
This module helps you to institute a strong memorable brand that sets you apart from your competition. You are able to DIY your branding, or tell your brand designer and strategist exactly what you need.
06 Evaluate and evolve
The best businesses change and evolve in time. Understanding which metrics and which feedback is actually valuable and how to analyse risks and opportunities are an important parts of business. How does your MVP evolve to MMP and MDP? When is it time for a rebranding? Are tough times a sign that you should quit?
In this module you will dive into the world of analytics, evaluations and growing your business sustainably. You'll learn how to read analytics and feedback, and how to use them to improve your business and brand.
After concluding this module, you can be more flexible in your business. You understand how and when to level your business up and when to simplify, plus you know how to prepare for and get over difficulties and failures.
