Of pink and the Weekly Wrapup

07.08.2012 - 01:31

Pink on (via tasselflower blog)

Pink and light red. The girly colors. Actually pink isn't a color at all, they say. It doesn't exist on the spectrum or something scientific like that.

It's funny how pink used to be the color of boys, considering how it's seen today. It was too "strong" for girls, for who light blue was more appropriate.

For quite a long I had this problem with pink: I thought it was too girly. And too girly felt somehow lesser. It's not, but I was in a misconception it is. At some point I embraced the girly and went for it with pink. If iPhone would've been available in hot pink, I'd got that one. (Instead I customized a pinkish case for it.)

By the by and by the way. The sweet pink photo is available as canvases, prints and on acrylic photo glass on Check it out!

Last week on tasselflower blog (eg. Weekly Wrapup)

Suomeksi (In Finnish):

Tsekkaa vaan!
